Elaborate Banality is a collaboration between Jes Schrom and Graham Simpson. The one-of-a-kind embroideries merge Simpson’s love of the mundane and straight forward design with Schrom’s detailed needlework. Much like life, the resulting pieces fall somewhere in between each person’s impulses and reflect the give and take of working together.
